  1. Unlike the democrats the republicans don’t hide their hands when they throw rocks. They just put it all out there I give them credit for that.

  2. Ya, the elephant is still standing trying to clean up the mess that Liberals created (or at least ENHANCED. ie. destroying all those things by surging the debt in 2 years by 4 times what George Bust did in 8 and more than what EVERY other President did PUT TOGETHER). Someone has to bury the dead (end) ideas that keep burying us ( no pun intended…well maybe).

    • Thanks for the feedback Bobby C.,

At least you are willing to admit that conservative policies have contributed to the current condition of the economy and not follow the tea party rhetoric that liberals are the only problem in politics. There may be hope that people can work together after all.

    • Thanks for the feedback Bobby C.,

But while some of us can stomach moderate conservatism, irresponsible conservatism that works to block the effectiveness of government should be avoided as well.

  7. Moderate conservatism? That is propaganda. Effective government is to stay out of the way of what made this country great. Capitalism and not government. Government should govern, regulate, not control and control everything, redistribute wealth, etc. Get real, communism has been tried (and socialism..same thing) time and time again…bottom line…DON’T WORK!

    And peace to you brother.

    • Bobby C.,

Nooooo, that’s a fact. Conservatism and a lack of regulation led to the stock market crash of the 1920s which directly led to the Great Depression. It was a total focus on money and profits that led to the development of the Food and Drug Administration because corporate America refused to offer the public products with some assurance that they were safe and performed as well as what the manufactures claimed. It was the total lack of federal government involvement that led to the development of Jim Crow laws that excluded black people from taking part in this society. Pure capitalism has been tried and it has been proven not to work. Anything done out of balance will not work. The key is to find the proper balance. Regulation in itself is not a bad thing. Profits are not a bad thing. Looking out for the welfare of others is not a bad thing. Doing any one of these things without some consideration for the others won’t work, regardless of any propaganda or unsubstantiated rhetoric about government controlling or not controlling everything. Maybe it’s about time you and people who think like you get real…

      Peace

  8. SB 1070, HB 56 and other copy-cat racist Neo Jim Crow laws.
