It's about our community and our spirituality!

Congratulations Saints!!!

I really didn’t think the Saints could pull it off.  But now that they’ve vanquished the Colts and our football lust has climaxed, maybe we can get back to real life.

    • Thanks for the feedback Mike Lovell!

LOL…I should be more careful with my words. I should have said that for some most of us the Super Bowl marks the climax of football season. But I hope you got something to tie you over. From what I understand it looks like we’re headed to a player’s strike.

      Peace

  2. yeah, if the players association and the Owners dont get their heads out of their asses, next season is the last one. Nothing like a bunch of bitchy millionaires getting into a tiff!

    • YES!!! Millionaires and billionaires fighting over who gets to make the most off of the people who pay out the nose to watch them play. What sense does that make? Who is entitled to the television revenue? Who is entitled to the revenue from people paying to wear the team logo? Who is entitled to a cut of the ticket sales? Who is entitled to a cut off of the concession stands? And the list goes on and on and on. It was a basketball strike that killed my interest in basketball. It was a baseball players’ strike that killed my interest in baseball. My interest in football withered all on its own. I guess I grew up and got a few priorities straight. But had it not done that I’m willing to bet that I wouldn’t be a fan if there is another football strike. I’m tired of rich people taking their fans for granted!

I will admit I loved the Super Bowl. I really didn’t think that the Saints would pull it off. It was one of those rare Super Bowl games that kept you watching to the final minutes. But if they strike I can guarantee that I probably won’t bother to watch the next one.

      Peace

      • Maybe the people who pay out the nose to watch these greedy goobers should go on strike. Hey! That’s us! Hell no we won’t go, hell no we won’t watch either! I am on strike! I think that if they want us to watch they will lower the prices and keep the millions of bucks they are siphoning out of our pockets and stop freaking complaining. When a lot of us are out here clamoring over pennies.

        Thanks.
