Too Bad Genarlow Wilson Didn’t Make Rosemary’s Baby

Genarlow Wilson is the man convicted of aggravated child molestation because as a seventeen year old he had engaged in oral sex with a consenting fifteen year old girl at a 2004 New Year’s Eve party. Mr. Wilson was in a video tape engaging in sex with a seventeen year old black girl. The video showed the girl on the bathroom floor and then later having sex with Mr. Wilson even though she appeared sleepy or intoxicated during the sex. She did not tell him to stop. When she woke up naked and disoriented the next morning, she claimed to have been raped. The police found condoms and evidence of alcohol consumption in the motel room used for the party.
The video also showed a fifteen year old white girl offering and then performing oral sex on Genarlow Wilson sex. A jury acquitted him of raping the older black girl, but convicted him of aggravated child molestation against the just two year younger white girl. At the time of his conviction, Georgia State law had provisions for similarity in age that allowed underage consent to be taken into account were only applicable to vaginal sex. Had the two teenagers engaged in vaginal intercourse without the oral sex, Genarlow Wilson would have been charged with a misdemeanor, punishable up to one year in jail, with no sex offender status, instead of the mandatory ten year minimum term that the judge gave him. The tape was from a video made in 2003. Genarlow Wilson was sentenced and started serving his sentence in 2005 at the age of nineteen. He served two years until he was released by the Georgia State Legislature.
Roman Raymond Polanski is the celebrated Academy Award winning director, producer, writer, and actor. He made such films as Rosemary’s Baby featuring Mia Farrow and Chinatown with Jack Nicholson and The Pianist featuring Holly Hunter and The Ninth Gate featuring Johnny Depp. He is one of the world’s best known contemporary film directors and is widely considered one of the greatest directors of his time. In 1977, at the age of forty four, Mr. Polanski was convicted for having unlawful sexual intercourse with a thirteen year old minor, Samantha Gailey now none as Samantha Geiner.
According to a 2003 interview with Ms. Geimer, Mr. Polanski asked her mother if he could photograph the girl for Vogue. Her mother consented to a private photo shoot. Everything was fine. Then Mr. Polanski asked her to change in front of him. She said she felt uncomfortable and did not want to go back for a second shoot but relented. A second session took place at the home of actor Jack Nicholson. The two were drinking champagne. Ms. Geimer said that toward the end it got scary when she realized he had other intentions. He asked her to lie down on a bed. She attempted to resist, but they were alone and she didn’t know what else would happen if she made a scene. So she figured if she could just get through it she’ll get to go home. Ms. Geimer testified that Mr. Polanski gave her a combination of champagne and quaaludes. In his autobiography, Mr. Polanski described the encounter as consensual.
Under a plea bargain, Mr. Polanski pleaded guilty to a charge of engaging in unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor. Under the terms of his plea agreement, the court ordered Polanski to report to a state prison for psychiatric evaluation, but granted a stay of ninety days to allow him to complete a project he was working on. He was even permitted to travel outside the country. Looking at possible incarceration, Mr. Polanski fled the United States.
A few days ago Mr. Polanski’s luck ran out. He was arrested by the police when he arrived at the Zürich Airport while trying to enter Switzerland to pick up a lifetime achievement Golden Icon Award from the Zurich Film Festival. Since then, a lot of people have come to his defense. A lot of people are sympathetic to Mr. Polanski’s plight and think it is okay that this celebrity goes without prosecution. Mr. Polanski is now a gentlemanly old man and should be exempt from any form of American justice.
Some people argue that Mr. Polanski has suffered enough. His mother died at Auschwitz; his pregnant wife was murdered by the Manson family; and after pleading guilty to unlawful intercourse and serving an evaluation period in the Chino state prison, he says he learned that a judge who had led him to believe that he would serve no more jail time actually was considering a longer sentence, followed by deportation. However it should be noted that Mr. Polanski exiled himself to France. Deportation could not have been that big of a threat.
Regardless, Mr. Polanski is a gifted artist. He appears to have been living a quiet, non-criminal family life in France all these years. His victim has publicly forgiven him and said that he should serve no more time after settling her civil suit against him for an undisclosed fortune and requested dismissal of the case. He’s an artist for goodness sake.
It really is too bad that Genarlow Wilson never did a notable movie like Rosemary’s Baby. It is too bad he never directed The Ninth Gate. Otherwise, other high profile celebrities just may have come to his rescue and vouch for his character the way they vouched for Mr. Polanski. No one has suggested that Mr. Polanski is innocent, but it’s only a matter of time before somebody makes the suggestion that he’s just as much the victim as his victim. People have made the suggestion that he has paid for his crime, just by living with what he has done, living well in France that is.
Without a big bucks movie to hand his name on, Genarlow Wilson never got such compassion. A lot of people had no problem seeing him and labeling him as a sexual predator. He couldn’t hightail it to France to spend thirty some odd years living with the emotional trauma of agreeing to a blow job from a white girl just two years younger than him. From the emotional standpoint of the national collective, without Mr. Polanski’s reputation and contribution to movie making, Mr. Wilson just didn’t have a prayer. Only Mr. Polanski’s reputation could save a forty four year old man who committed rape against her will. The reputation of Mr. Wilson’s couldn’t save a seventeen year old who consented to oral sex from a fifteen year old.
The Cleveland Show

The Cleveland Show, the Family Guy spin off launched as part of the new television season on the FOX network, is yet another vehicle for the white community to define black people. It was created by Seth MacFarlane who produced Family Guy along with American Dad. The animated show features the often emasculated Cleveland Brown who moved from Quahog, Rhode Island. The Cleveland Show will be an animated series focusing on the character of Cleveland Brown and his new family as Cleveland moves from Rhode Island to Stoolbend, Virginia. His new family includes his high school sweetheart, now second wife, Donna Tubbs, Donna’s teenaged daughter Roberta Tubbs, Donna’s five year old son Rallo Tubbs who will no doubt be the shows most outrageous character, and Cleveland’s son Cleveland Jr., also from the Family Guy.
The voice of Cleveland Brown is played by Mike Henry who will also do the voicing for Rallo. While the main character is played by a white guy, the voices for the rest of the family characters are voiced by black actors. Most notable is Sanaa Lathan who will play Donna Tubbs. Roberta Tubbs will be played by Reagan Gomez-Preston. Cleveland Jr. will be played by Kevin Michael Richardson.
I have to admit that I used to be a Family Guy fan. I tolerated the blatant racist stereotypes believing that the show exploited all racial stereotypes as well as the stereotypes associated with gender, sexual orientation, political beliefs, ethnic heritage, and the like. For example, I laughed like a fiend when Asian reporter Tricia Takanawa went to interview an animated David Bowie when he suddenly and unexpectedly held his index finger to her lips and seductively said, “Shhhh! Oh baby, just you shut your mouth.” And when Ms. Takanawa responded by jumping around excitedly then falling to her knees, grabbing David Bowie’s leg and said in an exaggerated Asian accent, “Ooooh! Me love to meet Ziggy Stardust! I take you home! I make you fish ball soup! Fish ball!” The obvious play was off my most favorite David Bowie song Little China Girl.
But when I saw the episode titled Cleveland-Loretta Quagmire I had had enough. The Cleveland character was often emasculated by his wife Loretta. But in this particular episode she cheats on Cleveland with his friend the sex maniac Glen Quagmire. It was a running gag that Quagmire was after Lois Griffin, Peter Griffin’s wife. But Lois was always able to resist Quagmire’s advances. Loretta Brown shows no prudence and gave it up to Quagmire at the first opportunity. And then when confronted by Cleveland, Loretta brazenly explains she needed a real man in the stereotypical, side to side, head moving style often associated with black women and their infamous attitudes. It was at that very moment I turned the channel and never looked back. From what I understand, that final humiliation leads to Cleveland and Loretta’s divorce.
So now Cleveland gets his own show. All I can imagine is that the humiliation of a black character that used to be just a side bit on the Family Guy now moves to center stage. I’m sure many people will find it hilarious. Most people usually find such racially stereotypical comedy humorous. I have little doubt that this particular cartoon has the potential to do just as well as any other. Seth McFarland will no doubt be remembered as one of our animation geniuses. The Family Guy and American Dad already account for a billion dollar franchise. The Cleveland Show is sure to compound the wealth.
But nevertheless, we have another sample of the same pattern of prejudiced behavior that has plagued the black community since black people were brought here in chains against their will. White people will have yet another opportunity to shape our understanding of the black community. If Seth McFarlane is calling the shots I would not be surprised if every writer, director, commercial artist, and every other supporting role would be void of black people. If anything, I’d be surprised to see if black people are hired in numbers representing anything coming close to accurately reflecting black population percentages. I wouldn’t be surprised to find out that the only black people affiliated with this show are the three voice actors previously mentioned. Nope, I’m pretty sure that this is just another exploitation of black people for laughs in typical operating procedure.
The Epitome Of The Term Black Turncoat

The swastika is widely known as the symbol of Nazi Germany and a symbol of anti-Semitism, recognized as a symbol of Jewish oppression. This is true despite the fact that the swastika has a history that far exceeds its reputation as Adolph Hitler’s favorite icon. Early aviators wore the swastika as a good luck charm. It has a history that goes back to the Baltic, Celtic, Finnish, and Germanic eras. But none of that matters because the symbol has an affiliation with Nazis. It doesn’t matter whose history it represents. It has been accepted as a symbol of hate and is forever branded as such.
The Confederate flag knows no handicap. Despite the fact that the Confederate is widely recognized as a symbol of racial hatred, second probably only to the noose that has been used as a quick and easy way to provoke and terrorize people of African descent. The flag has been proudly used by the white community to reinforce sentiments of racial segregation. This flag has been used as a symbol of subjugation by white people who want to wear their hatred for black people proudly on their patriotic sleeves. The Confederate flag has never been recognized as anything good for the black community. So I have to admit to a great deal of disappointment to see any black person who would not only tolerate this symbol of hate for black people, but will proudly display and accept this flag as part of his or her personal heritage. These people would never devote the same reverence for anything with a more obvious African affiliation.
Stephen Frazier is proud to refer to himself as a self confessed black turncoat, a term used to describe a person who switches allegiance and is synonymous with traitor. He is truly conservative to his Negroid core. And Mr. Frazier pulls no punches in his condemnation of the black community. Indeed, Mr. Frasier supports the theory that black people are less intelligent than white people simply because the number of black controlled corporations is so few in comparison to white controlled corporations. Mr. Frasier asked if black people were so intelligent why don’t a million black people pony up five hundred dollars and start their own corporation. I would say the same thing that keeps a million white people putting in five hundred dollars and starting up a new corporation. The logic is an example of a simpleton type thought process.
This is a black man who truly loves his Rush Limbaugh and challenges anyone to prove that Mr. Limbaugh has said anything the least bit negative about any racial group, but he willfully overlooks Mr. Limbaugh’s comments referring to black people as magic Negroes, his racially charged statements about the school bus fight between a couple of black students who attacked a single white student, or Mr. Limbaugh’s accusations against former Secretary of State Colin Powell claiming the only reason the conservative Mr. Powell endorsed the liberal black candidate was because of the color of his skin. The implication is that black people only support other black people because of the common color of our skin. Perish the thought that white people only vote for other white people because of the common color of their skin. If all it took was black skin to win black people’s vote I’m sure people like Michael Steele and Alan Keyes would have a totally different political career path.
But Mr. Frasier would never acknowledge such racist negativity and would simply close his eyes tight and stick his fingers in his ears and dismiss this racism as nothing more than Mr. Limbaugh telling it like it is.
Mr. Frasier appeared on theblacksentinel’s website trying to justify the conservative angst against President Barack Obama as other than, or more than, just race baiting. While I will admit that there are legitimate arguments to be made by conservatives on their differences with Mr. Obama’s policies, Mr. Frasier could not address any. In a complete opposite of Mr. Limbaugh can do no wrong, Mr. Obama can do no right. Mr. Obama is wrong for the country because he appointed thirty seven “czars” in his administration. And while that might sound like some communistic plot, the term “czar” refers to an executive branch official appointed by the President. For example, it is far simpler to use the term bird flu czar than use the official title, Advisor to the President for Public Health Emergency Preparedness.
Mr. Frasier goes on to say that Mr. Obama hired an “environmental whacko” and a “tree hugger”. Imagine the nerve of the President hiring somebody that is cuckoo about the environment to run the Environmental Protection Agency. What he should have done was imitated his predecessor and gave the keys to that agency to somebody who could not care less if we have clean air or clean water or works to keep our national parks pristine. That certainly does not sound like adequate justification for Mr. Obama’s picture to be adulterated with a little Adolph Hitler mustache nor for people to call into question his patriotism and make snide remarks about his ethnicity and racial heritage.
And Mr. Frasier’s complaint that Mr. Obama is enacting all kinds of legislation is pure right winged propaganda because of the simple fact that the President, the head of the executive branch of government, doesn’t enact law. Constitutionally speaking any law that the executive branch follows is enacted by the legislative branch, the United States Congress. The President can do his best to influence law, but his influence is limited. To blame Mr. Obama for our laws, especially after he’s only been in office for just a tad over eight months is pretty unfair. But what can you expect of anyone who gets the vast majority of their news from FOX and Rush.
Actually, that’s not quite true. Saying people listen to a particular media source and that is the way they think and feel is not totally accurate. While a dishonest news source can be an influencing factor, people have to have an attraction to such tripe in order to listen. For example, I can’t take more than five minutes of Rush Limbaugh’s radio show without wanting to hurl the radio out a window. Listening to FOX News would be some kind of reality deprivation torture akin to waterboarding.
As a black man, Mr. Frazier is a disappointing combination of conservatism and tolerance for racial discrimination that truly makes him the epitome of a black turncoat. I’m sure many people are happy to see this proud son of the Confederacy fly his Confederate flag and spew his hate for black people and the black community. If his admiration for people like Rush Limbaugh is any indication, people who promote racist views against the black community are his heroes. It helps explains why he embraces the Confederate flag. Those people who were sacrificing their lives in order to allow individual states to keep the right to enslave black people can’t be all bad. It’s not like they had the gall to hire an environmentalist whack job to run the government agency entrusted to protect the environment.
Oshumare

Not too long ago I was driving down the highway during a particularly strong thunderstorm. The rain stopped for a brief moment and the sun managed to find a break in the deep, dark, rolling clouds. But on the other end of the horizon, I saw the most intense rainbows I’ve seen in my life. Not only did the ends touch the ground, the typical arch going from ground arcing through the air and returning back to the ground was matched with a faint opposite that started way in the clouds, arced down and then went back into the clouds. I had never seen such a setup before. And didn’t think a rainbow with a mirrored image floating in the sky above was even possible.
The clouds gathered once again and the sunlight’s contribution to the rainbow disappeared. But five minutes later the clouds dissipated once again, the sunlight came back, and the rainbow came back, stronger than ever, with its mirror image in the clouds. I started to get suspicious. A couple minutes later the sun went away again. But a few minutes after that the rainbows came back for a second encore. I got the message. It was time to do a little something about Oshumare.
To listen to some people describe Orisa you’d swear they were more human than anything else. Orisa are supernatural beings that cannot be described in human terms. Even terms like Iya and Baba, mother and father respectively, really don’t do the Orisas justice because many of us have a tendency to take such terms too literally. Many people want to think of Iya and Baba in terms of sexuality and little else. Most people will use vague terms like paternal energies and maternal energies and other vague sounding nonsense to try and put these things into perspective. But really, to try and wrap human consciousness around the meaning of sexuality for an Orisa is a fool’s game.
Nowhere does the misapplication of sexuality is more evident than when we try to describe the Orisa Oshumare. Some describe him as androgynous and others might go so far as to say that he is bisexual. What the hell? Bisexuality refers to a biological condition where sexual behaviors manifest as an attraction to both genders, male and female. People who have a bisexual orientation will have an attraction to both people of their own sex and people of the opposite sex. But what does that mean for an Orisa? Is there such a thing as a homosexual Orisas as well?
Like most of the things we’ve been we’re taught about Orisa and the rest of Ifa, the ancient African spiritual tradition rooted in the Yoruba people, we simply accept what we’ve been told about Oshumare without really thinking about what we’re being taught.
The rainbow is a manifestation of Oshumare. He’s often referred to as the serpent and the rainbow, but he is no serpent. Caring and attentive he’s the messenger that carries communications back and forth between our plane of existence and olorun, or heaven. When people need some assistance getting their messages to any Orisa, Baba Oshumare will be there to help facilitate a dialogue. However, more often than not these days, people are ready to send a message but all too often have deaf ears to hear the response. These days, business is pretty slow for Baba Oshumare. The number of people who are ready to listen as well as they are ready to talk dwindles almost on an hourly basis.
These days, more people see the rainbow in the sky and the last thing they think of is an Orisa let alone Oshumare, and the children of Ifa are no exception. If it is not one of the most popular Orisas such as the Babas Ogun, Sango, Obatala, Orunmila, or Esu or one of the Iyas Yemonja, Oya, or Osun then most people don’t know much of anybody else. Oshumare is part of that obscure majority of Orisa. And if people think they do know him it is as an example of some spiritual sexual perversion.
Baba Oshumare is the Orisa recognized as a manifestation of the rainbow. It’s not to be interpreted as a judgment of his masculinity, at least not in our basic human terms. Orisas aren’t so limited and we really should learn not to transfer our ideas and experiences to them. Baba Oshumare is as prime an example as any Orisa for how we as humans misinterpret nature’s manifestations into the most incorrect terms. And some of us wonder why we’re out of touch with our spirituality. We experience the rainbow and yet we still do not see.
Mitrice Richardson Is Just Another Missing Black Woman

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department released twenty four year old Mitrice Richardson at an ungodly hour in the middle of the night from a remote substation. The young black woman, an executive assistant and lived with her grandmother in Los Angeles, was arrested on September 17th from an upscale restaurant in Malibu, about forty miles from her home, when she was presented with the eighty nine dollar check and couldn’t pay. The restaurant staff said she was behaving oddly. They claim that at one point she sat at a table of six other restaurant patrons and engaged them in conversation. That’s really odd because we know people never bother to try and meet other people. And by odd behavior the staff must have been referring to the fact that she was broke. That’s certainly odd to see in a Malibu upscale restaurant. The restaurant manager had to call the police.
When the police arrived, they searched Ms. Richardson’s car and impounded it after finding a small amount of marijuana. Ms. Richardson was arrested for possession of marijuana and not paying her bill. The police took her thirteen miles away to the Malibu/Lost Hills sheriff’s station. Her car remained at the restaurant. The young woman was then released at about one o’clock in the morning, without a cell phone or her car, on her own recognizance. She had no transportation and no way to communicate with her family. That was the last time anyone actually heard or saw of her.
Now, more than a week later, the police are still trying to find her. There have been few leads in her disappearance. One resident in a neighborhood several miles away from the sheriff’s station reported seeing a woman meeting Ms. Richardson’s description sleeping on a porch that morning, but nothing else. Ms. Richardson’s parents, along with their lawyer, accuse the police Friday of inconsistencies in their reports and say that Ms. Richardson should never have been released into the middle of the night so helpless. The police created an unsafe situation and handed Ms. Richardson to someone who may have done her harm on a silver platter. The police told the parents that they didn’t operate a baby-sitting service. Police also claimed that there was no room to keep the woman at the jail. But a check of police records show that there was only one other prisoner at the jail that day between 1:30 a.m. and that afternoon. What gives?
According to a statement by Captain Thomas Martin, most of the news stories have focused on her release from custody so early in the morning. But he wants the people to know that the Sheriff’s Station personnel acted appropriately and legally during the entire event. He claims his deputies acted compassionately and did their best to find someone to pay Ms. Richardson’s bill at Geoffrey’s, the restaurant, in an attempt to avoid an arrest. Although her family offered to pay the restaurant over the phone, the restaurant said that they couldn’t process phone call charges. So I guess we’re supposed to believe that the police searched Ms. Richardson’s car thinking they might find the eighty nine dollars in the back seat cushions or something. According to Mr. Martin, when the deputies didn’t find the funds, she was placed under a citizens arrest by the restaurant management and brought to the station for booking.
Mr. Martin went on to say that while Ms. Richardson was at the station, she was allowed to use the phone to call someone to pick her up. When she was unable to find a ride home, she was afforded the opportunity to remain in our custody until morning and leave at her convenience. When she declined, she was offered the lobby for her use all night, but she declined. Once she was processed and found to have no wants or warrants they could no longer legally detain the young black woman for the two pending misdemeanor charges. Mr. Martin says that he has thoroughly examined this incident and found his personnel acted professionally, compassionately, and within the law. But he prays that Ms. Richardson will be found safe and sound.
I find it difficult to believe that the police acted with compassion or professionalism to a black woman acting strangely in one of their posh Malibu restaurants in a predominantly white area by engaging other patrons in conversation. My experience has been that a black person in a predominantly white area is seen as a nothing but trouble. A black person better make sure he or she has their Ts crossed and Is dotted, Xs slashed and Os closed if they want to avoid trouble. The last thing that black people can count on is compassion from the authorities. We’re supposed to believe that the treatment given to Ms. Richardson is some exception to the norm.
So this morning I turn on the news and I don’t hear a peep about the disappearance of Ms. Richardson even though she disappeared over a week ago. What I did hear was more news about the formerly missing Yale student Annie Le. Even though her body was found inside one of the basement walls of the medical building she worked in days ago, she still manages to garner public attention.
The only way I found out about Ms. Richardson is a hookup from Dark Frosty, a visitor to my blog who sent me to Monie on the Outside. Obviously Ms. Richardson’s story just doesn’t meet the minimum standard necessary to become a national sensation for some reason. The compassion that the deputies of Malibu are supposed to have just isn’t reflected in our national community. A missing black woman just doesn’t pique our interests. It appears that if the black community wants to get the word out about this young black woman we are going to have to do it ourselves.
I Was Looking For A Black Microscope!

“One of the operatives who motivated me to create this ‘Microscope On Left Wing Bias In The Black Blogesphere’ (the original title) strikes again.
BrotherPeace Maker has deleted yet another one of my posts on his honorable blog.
This man prefers to spew left biased hatred and distortions in an unchecked manner. Yet when I confronted him over the years – ATTEMPTING to put his arguments into a larger framework in regards to the INCUMBENCY OVER BLACK AMERICA WHERE WE LIVE IN OUR HIGHEST CONCENTRATIONS – and thus point out the irony of his exclusive focus on the outsider – HE WOULD HEAR NONE OF IT.
First he started attempting to debate with me. A losing cause for him.
Then he changed his policy. My comments were migrated from the main posting area over to some folder reserved for ‘Constructive Feedback’.
I created this blog so that I could post MY COMMENTS made on BQPFRC sites which were prone to delete my words so that I can have a recording of how they were unable to deal with someone who challenged their leftist orthodoxy as applied to the Black Community.
Now BrotherPeaceMaker is simply deleting my posts when he sees them. I haven’t posted at that God forsaken site in about a year.
We see that neither Barack Obama nor BrotherPeaceMaker is willing to “meet with their enemies with no preconditions”. – Constructive Feedback
If by “year” he meant a few days ago when he tried to leave a comment on my post titled Freedom Of Speech Is Not Entitlement To Be Heard, then I have to agree with him. Otherwise, it looks like Destructive Feedback made five comments to my articles in the past year. Two of his comments were made to articles on this blog, three comments were to one of the articles I posted on the AfroSpear. As if I needed more proof to see that he is not only intellectually mistaken but he is a straight up bold faced liar. He says that he hasn’t posted any comments to my godforsaken blog in the past year but then complains that I simply delete his comments. He is a liar! And like most people who try to avoid the truth, he cannot keep his lies straight and if anybody bothers to look, all it takes is a cursory glance to see that his statements don’t add up. He is so caught in spinning his web of untruths that he doesn’t even bother to see that he will contradict himself in the very next sentence.
“First he started attempting to debate with me. A losing cause for him.”
I have to admit, this is one of those rare moments where I find that we are in perfect agreement. He is most correct when he says that at first I was willing to dialogue with him. But after sampling his perverted thought processes, I’m reminded of the words of Massachusetts Representative Barney Frank and I have to ask, “On what planet do you spend most of your time?” You see, I tried to get through to whatever remains of anything resembling logical thought in his thinking process. But like Mr. Frank said to the young lady at the town hall, “Trying to have a conversation with you would be like arguing with a dining room table.” And right now I’m in no mood to argue with a dining room table. Although I must admit the table would probably have a far more logical argument than the nonsense Feedback sputters. So people will have to forgive me if I look for more intelligent conversation elsewhere. Like with my sofa. As soon as I’m through with Feedback there’s a good chance I’ll turn away from my desk and say, “Excuse me Mr. Sofa but I had to reply to some idiotic liar. Now, where were we…”
I really didn’t want to post a link to Feedback’s little blog. After looking at his visitors counter and the fact that he has been writing his Black People Under a Microscope since February of 2008, I figure he is getting about twenty five hits per day on average, maybe even less more recently. Now I’m pretty sure he has a few family members and friends who frequent his site on a regular basis. But I’m also sure that the majority of the people who visit his blog come away thinking, What the fuck is this? I was looking for black microscopes! What the hell is this Microscope on Black People on the Web With Windows 2.0 shit, or whatever this crap is trying to be? That Google Search really can suck some times!
With all the complaining he does about the shortcomings of black people and his total focus on the faults of the black community, I would imagine that Feedback’s visitors count would be off the chain and his fan base would appeal to anybody with a conservative mindset and somewhat of a racist streak that would be more than happy to accept the racial disparity that continues to plague the black population in general. But even that large pool of potential visitors finds his blog too nonsensical to frequent on a regular basis.
While he continues to pull his dining room table impersonation, trying his best not to understand why anyone would ban him from their website, then again knowing him it probably is no act at all, other people come to my blog and can engage in a conversation like adults. But Feedback has a way of engaging people that disagrees with him that resembles recent town hall conservative’s behavior. He has no interest in dialogue. He has no need for talk. All he wants is any attention he can get. He is so desperate for somebody’s approval, anybody as long as they are not from the black community, to the point that he would do so at the expense of anything that might remind him of the need for integrity.
No one here or from the AfroSpear forced Feedback to start his 2.0 blog. He started it totally on your own in a bid to justify his hatred of his black self. And the simple fact of the matter is that as much as I don’t care for anything about him, the loathing he has for his self pales in comparison. He started his blog to feed his hatred of black people. He really needs to come to terms with the decisions he has made and quit thinking he is going to change me or anyone else with the dribble that he tries to pass as a blog.
A Simpler Way

The Republican Party has its Democratic counterpart at a serious disadvantage. The Republican Party is far more homogenous than the Democrats. Looking back at clips and glimpses of the Republican National Convention, the majority of the crowd was obviously identifiably white. While there were some ethnicity displayed on the stage with high profile appearances and commentary from people like Michael Steele and Bobby Jindal, the vast majority of conservatives are racially white.
While the white community makes up something in the neighborhood of seventy to seventy five percent of the national population, I’ve seen estimates that the Republican Party was over ninety three percent white while the Democratic Party was down in the sixty percent range. So the Republican Party can appeal to its base with broad strokes of political policies that promote the protection of institutions that can be mostly associated with the status quo and with white privilege. It is common sense that white privilege would appeal to a mostly white base.
Without all the complications associated with trying to make a cohesive, unified group with people from divergent ethnicities and cultures and historical backgrounds, the conservatives can keep their messages simple and revolving around a single theme of keeping the status quo that is traditionally geared towards white people. Indeed, for many people in the more conservative party, anything that changes our social makeup is a threat to our traditional American way of life.
When I see conservative people holding up signs saying they want to take their country back, I have to ask, take their country back from whom? As far as I know the white community isn’t in any real danger of losing control or of being minimized to the point of insignificance in America’s racial spectrum. If the racial makeup of the upper echelons of the United States government is any indication, the white community is well represented and isn’t going away anytime soon or anytime later.
The same can be true about the captains of corporate America, the representatives of state level governments, the judicial system, nonprofit agencies, entertainment from the perspective of both the people front and center and the people who operate and control things behind the curtain or behind the camera, just about any corporation’s middle management, and any other slice of America held in high regard. The white community is, by every measurable social comparison, is truly in the driver’s seat.
But nevertheless, the conservative party can appeal to the conservative base by manipulating their fears that we the minorities are doing what we can to put an end to the perpetual condition of white privilege rooted in racial discrimination built on a solid foundation of state sanctioned black subjugation. Then again, if truth was told it wouldn’t be very hard to imagine minorities working their best as a collective to end white privilege in order to make a more racially equitable society. But the moment we do anything that makes our national collective more fair or anything to make things more equitable, some people want to scream socialism, one of the main scourges of conservative principles.
Democrats on the other hand are not so lucky to have such a one trick pony core. Blue dog Democrats can appear to be just as conservative as any hard core Republican. Democrat in name only, they exist at one end of the political spectrum. These Democrats have more in common with their Republican opponents than some of their associates they share their side of the political aisle with.
And the political issues are just one set of the complex mix of subjects that make up the vast interests of the Democratic Party. Although such diversity can sound a lot more inclusive, it is the inclusion of this diverse collection of people with differing ideas, perceptions, perspectives, needs, wants, backgrounds, futures, and etcetera that makes it somewhat difficult to operate with anything resembling a unified political bloc with the same basic ideas, interests, perceptions, beliefs, faith, and all.
I guess that’s one of the inherent problems associated with having a liberal orientation that is geared towards the possibility of new ideas and new concepts and progressive ways of thinking, but in different directions, that have to come together as opposed to having the same basic orientation with relatively little acceptance for a diverging path from people who may have diverging interests.
This is not to say that the Republican Party doesn’t welcome people who think in progressive ways. I do believe the party can be very innovative. But innovation is limited to assuring that the status quo stays in place. And from a racial perspective and class perspective and economic perspective and more, I feel that keeping the status quo would seriously put me and other people in the black community at a true disadvantage if we were to chose the simpler way.
Freedom Of Speech Is Not Entitlement To Be Heard

I will do my best to make this as clear as possible. Everybody is entitled to freedom of speech. Anyone who denies anybody of their freedom to speak their minds in a public forum is restricting people’s freedom of speech. People who work to undermine people’s freedom of speech need to be confronted and stopped whenever and wherever it happens.
Now I’ll do my best to make sure this part is clear as well. My blog is not a public forum. My blog is my personal space that I alone worked hard to create and maintain, initiate and nurture. People who come to my blog are my guests. In many respects, visitors to my blog are no different than the people who come to my home. I usually do my best to make people feel welcome in my home. There is no prerequisite that we have to agree on everything. In fact, we don’t have to agree on anything. But as long as we can agree to disagree, we will get along fine and I will be happy to be your host.
People who come to my blog aren’t automatically entitled to have their comments posted. Any comment from my visitors that gets posted is only posted because it receives my personal approval to appear on my personal blog. People who don’t know me from Adam would do better to keep personal attacks on me out of their comments. What in the world would possess me to post a comment from someone I don’t know that starts of with an insult tossed my way?
Imagine if someone walked up to my front door and when I answered their knock the first thing out of their mouth was an insult followed by a demand that I step aside and allow them unlimited reign to my home. More than likely I’d tell them to get off my freakin’ property and then slam the door on his or her face. Now who would blame me for not wanting such a person in my house?
This is not to say that I’m trying to infringe on anyone’s freedom to speak. They are more than welcome to find their public forum and say what they want. They can disagree with me until they’re old, wrinkled and grey. I don’t think I’m that important but if that’s what floats other people’s boats then float away. That’s the entire point of freedom of speech.
But if somebody walked into my house and started shitting on my furniture and doing their best to make a nuisance of his or her self they would quickly understand the concept of freedom of my foot up their ass. I have the freedom of speech as well. And people coming to my space need to be aware that I plan to fully exercise my freedom as well. And while I may not do it in a public forum, my space here is intended for people to hear what I have to say first, and then what others may want to say something about what I’ve said will come second.
A lot of people come here and say that I’m only looking for comments that stroke my ego. Perish the thought. If I had to guess the majority of the people who are driven to respond don’t necessarily agree with my thinking. People are constantly calling me a racist. People consistently insult my intelligence. People accuse me of festering hate. And people have accused me of trying to institute some back to Africa movement for black people. People will say that I look for racism around every corner. Truth be told, I don’t I have to look around anything. Racism and racial prejudice oozes and flows all around us like sunshine on a sunny day on the sunny side of the planet Mercury.
Normally I’ll try to engage. Like everybody I have preferences and dislikes. But be that as it may, I don’t think I’m overly racist and wouldn’t want people to think of me as such. Just because I see and understand the nature of the discrimination against the black community doesn’t necessarily mean I’m trying to stir up racism or making the suggestion that the black community cannot coexist with the racially generic dominant community. If anything, I’m pointing the problem out so that we as a collective from both communities can do what we can to alleviate the disparity. I’m not a racist.
But some people don’t want to listen or try to see things from my perspective. People will call me a racist and that’s all that matters to them. No dialogue is necessary. And I might be a racist in their eyes. That’s what they’re entitled to think and they can use their freedom of speech to say so. But I’m certainly not going to let their freedom of speech to say I’m a racist ride on the back of my freedom of speech telling people I’m not.
Some Enemies Of Their Enemy Might Be Racist

There is so much blame to go around everybody can take his or her heaping helping and there would still be plenty left for tomorrow and the rest of our lives. Many people point to the conservatives and say that they are getting out of hand. The conservatives will say that it started with the liberals and their animosity towards former President George Bush. Two years into Mr. Bush’s term, Missouri Representative Richard Gephardt called Mr. Bush a miserable failure. Four years into Mr. Bush’s term Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid called Mr. Bush a loser.
Liberals point to the behavior of the political conservatives who tried to run former President Bill Clinton out of office for his extramarital extracurricular activity with Monica Lewinsky in the oval office of the White House. Conservative politicians came out the woodwork to heap fuel on the fire of condemnation. People like Idaho Senator Larry Craig, former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich, South Caroline Governor Mark Sanford and Senator Strom Thurmond were ready to condemn the President for his improper sexual behavior when they were participating or had participated in their own improper sexual activity. Many conservatives lined up to name Mr. Clinton the most evil man in America.
Before that, conservatives pointed to the shameful treatment of Bill Clinton’s immediate predecessors George Bush and Ronald Reagan. But before that, liberals point to the way former President Jimmy Carter was undermined by conservatives who were working against his best efforts to manage the country and free the American hostages that were held by the Iranians. And before that, we can go back to every political relationship between liberals and conservatives from the very moment somebody had the idea that this former colony should become a new country.
But despite whom we might believe started it or why, things are getting pretty tense. The political atmosphere of the nation is getting very bitter and very caustic. People are holding political signs of hatred for their President. Without much in the way of a foundation for such vitriol, people accuse the President of being a socialist or a communist because he’s using tax dollars to try and save what remains of our economy or he wants to try and save jobs by using public money to keep General Motors from completely collapsing, or he wants to reform the healthcare system so all citizens can have equal access to quality medical care.
On the surface, saving the economy, jobs, and people’s health sounds like a good thing. But leave it to political opponents to find the sinister truth that it’s all a political ploy to take over our government even thought he was already over our government. People feel entitled to take their guns to town halls when the President makes an appearance and will scream bloody murder if someone makes the suggestion that town halls where emotions run hot and people are quick to anger are no place for loaded weapons. These same people don’t say peep when they are told not to take their weapons to the airport, bank, school grounds, hospital, police station, and etcetera. But try to tell somebody not to take their gun around the first black President. It’s all just a socialist plot to take away our right to bear arms.
President Barack Obama represents everything we fear and hate about government. People don’t mind paying taxes until Mr. Obama becomes President and we suddenly have tea party reenactments to protest too much taxing and deficit spending even though deficit spending on the national level has been a way of life for more than half a century. People know we need healthcare reform but healthcare reform under Mr. Obama is simply trying to do too much too fast. All the changes to our political system that we elected him to make need to be stopped.
Things like healthcare reform needs to put it off for the time being so we can let more Americans continue to lose their homes and any wealth they may have to outrageous medical bills and we continue to let insurance companies rake in billions of dollars in profits by denying people the coverage they need because of preexisting conditions. And if Mr. Obama and the rest of our liberal government leaders don’t listen to their conservative constituents, the conservatives can quote Thomas Jefferson and make threats about watering the tree of freedom with their political opponent’s blood.
This is the environment we find ourselves. Like the Republican Party campaign rallies held prior to the general election that overwhelmingly swept Mr. Obama into the presidency, conservatives are being whipped up into a blood boiling frenzy. People are encouraged to disrupt any dialogue from happening so that ignorance and suspicion can continue to reign supreme. Ignorance allows fear and suspicion to spread and fester and that is an advantage for anyone who doesn’t want to see any change to the status quo for any reason.
Whether people don’t want to see Mr. Obama succeed because they foresee a loss of personal status when things change or whether or not it’s because of personal greed or whether or not it’s because of a political philosophy or whether it is because of downright racism, the end result is the same. The enemies of Mr. Obama see other people who are Mr. Obama’s enemies as their friends. Anything is okay as long as it leads to Mr. Obama going down and derails his plan to changes our system. It is more important to score political points with a common goal than to say anything that might upset the coalition of resistance.
So it’s really not a surprise to see people who want to bring guns to town hall meetings get the endorsement of conservatives. It’s no surprise to see conservatives put a great deal of their political stock into people who have a history of racism or a history of making racially insensitive remarks. It’s no surprise to see conservatives hitch their hat on anybody who thinks their constitutional rights are at risk or that death panels are after the elderly or the President is an undocumented foreigner or anything else that comes to mind.
Therefore, anybody with any beef with Mr. Obama is an ally to conservatives no matter how abhorrent. Anybody who hates Mr. Obama is a friend that deserves the protection of anyone who may be a conservative. As a collective, many conservatives are willing to look the other way as instances of racism become more blatant in our politics. But that’s okay because America has always had a high tolerance for prejudice against black people. Conservatives might as well take advantage of it while they can.
