There is an additional reason why America doesn’t do anything to help. America just doesn’t care about the plight of black people. There’s always a convenient excuse not to life a finger. The whole situation with Katrina should have enlightened the majority of us. Four days for our government to do anything to get help to those people. Why? There were no dry buses available. They didn’t know what the streets were like. The infrastructure was too damaged. Their dogs ate all of the keys to all of the helicopters.

I think the only reason we haven’t intervened in Africa is because the former European colonial powers are doing such a good job of spreading misery there. American intervention is about the worst thing that could happen to an already bad situation.

A country that was founded on one of the principles that black people warrant subjugation as an enslaved people to do white people’s bidding will always be open to the idea of subjugating black people in less overt ways.

I will be yawning right along with you. It is funny (and I don’t mean ha ha) that we can peruse the world righting the ills of what ails citizens of other countries as long as they don’t call themselves black.

We have yet to interfere with any genocide going on in Africa or better yet America.
