Meanwhile, you say that we're "in midst of an economic meltdown," and then complain that the president, having passed stimulus legislation and introduced financial reforms, is now working on long-term economic measures like universal (not "free") health care. These are measures to make our economy more competitive globally, as well as to improve federal and state budgets. Yet your complaint is that in an economic crisis, the president should be spending more time on foreign affairs! Just what do you think he should be doing on Iran or North Korea that he isn't already doing? Wow. “The Chauvinist,” indeed!
