Hey Tyrone! I am looking forward to reading your review. I have to be honest though, I really don't expect Mr. Cosby and Mr. Poussaint to say anything new. If what I've seen on Meet the Press and Larry King Live I know for a fact that he doesn't understand the problems effecting the black community. Parents are not the problem here. The problem is society.

I am actually going to get a copy of this book later. I am anxious read Cosby's ideas about solving problems in the black community. Although I understand his intentions as well as his apparent frustration, one point he already seems to have missed is that yelling and talking down to people who are "lacking education" is not going help them get educated and faster. In fact, it will just help them tune you out. As you said, such ideas give the impression that blacks are solely responsible for their current place America's society. and that is just not accurate.

I will read this book and let ypu know what i think, in fact i will post about it.
