The Worst of Destructive Feedback

Destructive feedback refers to commentary that disapproves without any intention of being helpful and almost always causes a negative or defensive reaction to the recipient. Destructive Feedback is a person who happens to be black and severely disapproves of the black community and the people who make the welfare of the black community a priority in their lives. This gentleman, and I use the term very generously, likes to go by the name Constructive Feedback. However, there is nothing constructive about this personality. True constructive feedback isn’t nagging, nit-picking, and filled with negative connotations. Constructive criticism requires a little homework and a little common ground. It requires someone to determine what the person giving the criticism and the person receiving the criticism have in common that will assist in assuring a well meaning dialog with positive results. It is never helpful when the person giving the criticism is judgmental of the recipient or their ideas. When working together, issues regarding criticism and how others might react to feedback are very important. And maybe with the possible exception of a working environment, constructive feedback is never imposed on another. Lastly, constructive criticism should be well thought out before being offered. It is very useful for the giver of criticism to reflect on their own conceptions and notions before deciding that the other person needs to hear the criticism.
A lot of people have a lot of ideas on how to improve the black community. Some are obviously helpful, like the ideas of assuring black people have opportunities for education and employment, and access to free or low-cost medical care and medicines. But on the other hand some ideas are obviously hurtful, like the idea of coming down hard and heavy on the black community and arresting any and every black person in the black community the moment they step out of line without ever trying to determine why so many black people are choosing to turn to crime as a means or determining if conditions exist that drive black people to desperation. The heavy handed approach may sound good to people who wish to follow a hardcore white mindset rooted in the beat down of slaves to keep them in line. But people turn to crime for a variety of reasons. For example, it would be truly callous and cruel to arrest someone guilty of not paying a parking ticket in the same manner as someone guilty of murder. Granted this is an extreme example but it is true description of police mentality (see Excessive Police Abuse Again by the Black Sentinel). White people are more likely to receive sympathy and compassion from their peers, or black people who wish to be their peers, who control the legal system, while black people are more likely to endure the full weight of the law thrown at our heads.
People like Destructive Feedback will deride this opinion and others like them as nonsense entrenched in a non-white white supremacist mindset. Maybe so but there is plenty of evidence that says otherwise. If a non-white white supremacist mindset means one who reads newspapers and magazines, watches the news, and learns for his or her self what exactly is happening in the world between the white community and the black community then I guess I’m guilty. But the idea that a black person claiming racism is alive and well in the American society is too much of a threat to Destructive Feedback’s world to go unchallenged. Despite all of its faults the American system, it has been good to Destructive Feedback and his family. Therefore, the treatment of the black community in general can be measured by his success. And any black person who is unable to participate in America’s bounty must be a troublemaker that should be watched very carefully.
I think what we have here is a brother who truly hates the fact that he is black and wants to prove to white people that he is more than the typical modern day field Negro. This is a man that wants to prove his loyalty to the system but also wants to set himself as an example to black people everywhere. All black people have to do is close their eyes and racism will be dead. This person, who is black only in skin color, believes that because of the Civil Rights Laws of 1964 racism is dead. Thanks to affirmative action no employer would ever discriminate against black people. Thanks to Abraham Lincoln everybody is equal. But as much as anyone would like to live in such a naïve little world where no one is judged by the color of their skin the reality is that black people are being subjugated left and right. Racism isn’t dead. It is very much alive and thriving better than any e-coli bacteria in a Petri dish filled with cow meat could ever hope for.
Please use the links below to see the writings of a troubled mind and an ugly glimpse at one of the biggest problems facing the black community the tom (and I ain’t talking about Jerry’s feline homie). We have too many brothers and sisters who are just way too willing to be part of the system unwilling or incapable of seeing the entire picture of what is happening to the black community. That in itself is bad enough. But black people who spend their time attacking other black people and defending the injustices of the white community are a truly unique phenomenon that is too dangerous to let run amok. It pains me, but Mr. Feedback has enjoyed his last uninhibited post on this blog. Any person who insists on towing the line that the black community must conform to white people’s standards in order to survive in America is part of the problem. For a black man to insist that black people must conform is nothing less than a blatant cancer to the black community (see Ghetto Dudes Need Jobs Too).
Long ago back on the continent, if our African ancestors found someone in their community who worked tirelessly and continuously to undermine the community, I believe they would take the necessary steps to protect the community at large from this threat, fairness be damned. They would see this individual with the same contempt one gives cancer. Cancer must be contained and controlled. Cancer should never be allowed to run rampant and spread its infection. Therefore, in the future Destructive Feedback’s unwelcome comments will be limited to being an addendum to this single article. Feel free to return here to see the ravings of this truly unique phenomenon.
A community is a chain of people who come together for their strength in whatever they collectively choose. But a chain is only as strong as its weakest link. And for the black community, I believe this is the very weakest link indeed.

Here ya go buddy.
I would like for you to talk your way out of these STATISTICAL FACTS:
The “White People Use More Drugs But Are Not Locked Up As Much As Blacks” Excuse
http://withintheblackcommunity.blogspot.com/2007/08/white-people-use-more-drugs-but-are-not.html
I know I know.
I am a Black man. Since I am working against YOU I must be a harm to the Black community and I must hate being Black.
You are not the epitome of Blackness.
In your dishonesty in not wanting to deal with the FACTS you are an agent of perpetuation of that which ales our people.
without any intention of being helpful and almost always causes a negative or defensive reaction to the recipient. Destructive Feedback is a person who happens to be black and severely disapproves of the black community and the people who make the welfare of the black community a priority in their lives.
Translation:
Since I, a Black man, choose not to participate in YOUR obfuscation campaign in which you shift the conversation about the issues that the Black community faces upon WHITE FOLKS then I am “negative” against Black people.
For me to become a “good guy” all that I would need to do is to shift my scrutiny upon WHITE FOLKS, all the while defending the Black Criminals who are killing so many of our Black people. The people of Newark are TERRORIZED in their own community. I am supposed to look past that fact and FOCUS ON WHITE FOLKS so I can “get in where I fit in”.
This guy calls me NEGATIVE!!!
BrotherPeaceMaker – you are a perpetual VICTIM. Your ‘negativism’ is toward the traditional boogiemen within the Black community – the police, the corporation, Bush, the Republicans, Black folks who don’t think like you.
I dare to go after forces within our community that have enjoyed safe passage from people like you. You can’t stand it so you attack the messenger.
For some reason you must have thought that BLACK MOTHERS across America would be comforted by your recent post about the WHITE KILLERS and their crime spree. I support LOCKING THEIR ASSES UP as well as BLACK CRIMINALS as well.
Funny how earlier on in our jousting match you told of your non-interest in Black on Black crime and told me to have at it. Now it seems that which your submission of the two White boys in orange you ARE defensive about Black on Black crime after all. You choose to project a counter offense by going on about what these White boys have done.
Am I “negative” or am I critical of those you have traditionally protected despite their assaults on Black people?
Can you tell me how YOU ARE CONSTRUCTIVE when you protect those who are harming us and are OF OUR OWN KIND by not holding them accountable? You are their greatest defenders as you look for White boys who are criminals as well to obfuscate toward. In your own way you feel embarrassed that the actions of a Black person AGAINST BLACKS has made it to the news. You need to find a WHITE BOY who has committed a similar crime and post them here. In your mind such a “check mate” has nullified an “attack on Blackness” by an outside White person (or a rogue Black person like me….in your mind). All the while the BLACK VICTIM of the crime is left as a second victim……..the victim of YOUR INSECURITY.
I have little doubt that the PEACE that you seek to make is the ABSENCE OF CONFLICT WITHIN THE BLACK RACE. As long as we are made VICTIMS of the outside world and are unified in our victimhood this is a state of PEACE in your mind.

Article: Racism Inside And Out
I couldn’t help but thinking about this blog entry when I saw a Best Buy commercial that was co-sponsored by INTEL – that racist bastion of subliminal messages.
It showed a Black man talking to the “Geek Squad” while his COLLEGE BOUND BLACK SON was locked in the car. The BLACK MAN wanted to make sure that his kid’s computer was free from viruses before allowing him out of the car to go to COLLEGE.
Maybe it was Best Buys that tempered Intel from their racist tendencies in that this commercial featuring Black people did not have them bowing down to the White man – or in a pose in the starting blocks of a track event – depending on the affliction that you have.
Best Buy/Intel actually showed an INVOLVED BLACK FATHER and a COLLEGE BOUND BLACK KID!!!! They missed the opportunity to purse their normal racist rant by showing the father, strung out on Crack and his kid going to the Crackhouse that his father is holed up in, attempting to retrieve the laptop that his father stole from him to sell for a “quick hit”.
This would have comforted you, wouldn’t it have BrotherPeaceMaker? It would have solidified your view of how Intel sees you as a BLACK MAN!
I ain’t your buddy.
However, those percentages are really interesting. I hope you enjoy your celebration over the fact that you found “proof” that black people are more evil than white people. Do you have any overall numbers to go along with those percentages? Do you bother to find out why black homicide percentages are so high? I’m sure William Bennet appreciates your support.
Peace
You’re not a negative guy because you “choose not to participate in [MY] obfuscation“. You’re a negative guy because you love to kiss white people’s ass and expect other black people to do the same. You’re not completely negative for the black community. In fact, your example is important to the black community so other black people can see the problem of simply focusing on everything that’s wrong with the black community instead of trying to help the black community. If we were having an honest debate of differences then I would be more than happy to engage you. But your obtuse nature against anything other than statistics that prove black people are evil is truly sad. There’s absolutely nothing I can say to help you understand the broader issue at hand here.
Peace
I guess I should try to break this down for you better. There was a specific advertisement from Intel that I, along with a number of other people who happen to be black and others who happen to be white, felt was insensitive to the black community. It had racist undertones. This wasn’t a call for more advertisements featuring black people. It is your lack of consideration and your contempt for the issues that are indicative of the problems in the black community that makes you the champion of white domination that you are. This was an article about how insensitive the people who work for these conglomerates can be to their black customers. Do you understand now? Obviously, since you are so comfortable with the idea of blaming the black community and only the black community for the problems of the black community, my message wouldn’t or couldn’t strike a connection with you. Therefore, it must be intended for someone else. Your sarcastic insistence of finding something that comforts me is pitiful.
Peace
Man, I missed all the action! Found out last week that my employer blocked your site from my computer. I do see the subliminal message here in the ad ( before I read all the comments) but I don’t know if it warrants this much attention. All the energy that you two are using back and forth with each other could be better spent helping US as a community. Both of you bring up some valid points, albeit w/ different opinions. But, it should not deter us from moving forward. As a Black woman it saddens me that two intelligent Black men have to come to virtual blows w/ each other just to get a few points across. We HAVE to learn as a people that we can agree to disagree AND still help each other at the same time. Ya’ll have a nice day now.
This is an interesting post and it sounds like you have your hands full with this guy. I would hope that the messages back and forth are being analyzed thoroughly and somehow permeates at least eventually.
I understand being stuck in this perpetual loop of defending white people because that is the propaganda and the “black training” that we have had pushed down our collective throats for decades. But, you know now it is by shear choice or stupidity that we continue to tow that line. We can do better if we want.
I am still snickering thinking about the fact that just because we had a civil rights movement which is stuck in a rut that somehow racism is dead and it is now all our own doing when our brothers and sisters can’t find jobs, homes, or food. The same way that when a nail flattens your tire, you pull the nail out, does that now mean your tire is no longer flat. Of course not, you have to do more work to FIX the flat, same as racism, our work is far from over.
I agree that we have so much that is wrong in the black community, however that is not to say that it is completely by our own doing. I don’t see how he can be helpful to anyone if all he is going to do is point the finger back in the face of the people who need his and our help. Would he be so quick to point the finger in the face of a white victim whom he seems to see as more worthy of his sympathy.
Is this not the way of America, help those who don’t need it, corporate welfare, tax cuts for the rich. So I guess this just makes him a good American. Thanks for shining the light on this hypocrite!
Great Post
He started it!
Just kidding. I have to agree that the ad really doesn’t deserve all the attention it’s gotten. I saw it as an example of subliminal racism and I wanted to bring it to people’s attention. Like everything else I write, it is just my opinion. Everybody is free to form their own. With any community people are free to disagree. I apologize for allowing myself to be sidetracked so easily. I will endeavor to do my best to keep focus in the future.
Peace

PBlanton:
I am sure that you are a conscious Black woman. I am sure that you achieved this by knowing your self.
For me – as a Conscious Black man it would be a SELLOUT for me to put aside my core values just for the sake of UNITY. I am of the opinion that the Black community is strong enough to hand FUNDAMENTAL DISAGREEMENTS and distention in the context of a dEMOCRATIC FRAME WORK. The problem is, however, that a certain powerful element in our community has been allowed to steamroll disagreement for too long. They now have us over a bridge too far and are unable to lead us to safe ground.
I assure you that when it comes to THE END GAME BPM has not a single cell more in his body than mine that is committed to achieving this as a racial collected. This is a debate on METHODOLOGY. In my view THEY are not able to have an honest debate and stand accountable on the OBFUSCATION that they have lead Black people on in fighting the EXTERNAL BOOGIE MAN while our INNARDS grew large cancers on the vital organs. We are currently facing a critical period of trauma and they are attempting to execute the very same game plan – the INTERNAL UNITY for the EXTERNAL FIGHT.
My goal it to go OVER THE TOP in direct proportion to the underhandedness of those who have the POPULAR voice that influences our people. I can no longer sit back with my mouth wide open as I look at who they choose to attack while they drive past bigger villains that do more harm to our people but are not easily exploitable in the standard ways.
IF ONLY I WAS A MINORITY VIEW rather than a minority response within our community. Black people have a high level of aggrievement but in our disorientation with respect to what is hitting us where it counts certain people step in and APPEAR to be leading us a certain way but ALL THEY ARE DOING IS EXPLOITING THIS AGGRIEVEMENT rather than MANAGING EFFECTIVE CHANGE.
Without an OBJECTIVE MEASUREMENT of that which is put before Black people in the name of PROGRESSION we are going to CONTINUE following along but blaming SOMEONE ELSE for our troubles.
I am part of too strong of a race to keep being played as we are.
Destructive Feedback wrote…as a Conscious Black man it would be a SELLOUT for me to put aside my core values just for the sake of UNITY.
Trust me, nobody here is accusing you of being unified with black people. Although a united people has proven to be a real strength in a struggle of classes and race it would be the last thing I would accuse you of. It appears that your goal is to convert every black person to your thought processes and diversity or black unity be damned. The strength you claim to have comes from whatever perverted pleasure you get from coming down so hard on black people.
I will say this one more time. I don’t think it will register with you but I do hold on to hope. Black on black crime is a horrible thing. Do what you feel you need to do to help. But leave others who understand that the phenomenon of black on black crime is rooted in racist propaganda do what we feel we must do to help the black community.

Of course I keep people in the dark. It is called a black mindset. You should try it sometime. And if I was to delete anything it would be all of your tow the line, America is good, black people need to conform garbage that you write.

I’m a little late on this conversation, but all I can say is that-black people don’t believe that there is so much self-destruction in our race especially after we have had so much help-destruction. There is self-destruction in every race it just don’t always make it to the surface. No, it would not hurt for us to clean up our image we all know this, but if you are not doing anything to improve this drama then you are only a part of the problem.
The one thing that we are guilty of is not sticking together. White people stick together like superglue they are unbreakable. Look at the empire that bonded together when Michael Richards said what he said. They came from all over the place saying “He didn’t mean it. He’s not racist.”
Look at the pack that tried to protect Imus. It took what over 400/500 years for them to destroy the African race. It may be another 400/500 years for us to get it right. It’s only been a little of 40 years that the evils of oppression has subsided and that’s at minimum because they only put up with us not accept us.
Whites are the most murderous people that ever lived. They killed one another as well as other races. They just got smart and realized that why kill one another when we can unite and be superior to others. They teach their children that they are beautiful, smarter, and better than any other race. Therefore we must learn to do the same. Teach your child to say “SAY IT LOUD I’M BLACK AM I’M PROUD. Give them a map of Africa first and inform them that they are the descendant of all that is beautiful, rich and black.
The white race is no better than the next race. They still kill, they rape, they use drug and even supply them to our black men letting them take the fall, they are gay, they beat and kill their wives and children, they steal, they lie so please spare me the if it ain’t white it ain’t right. OK I’m back now I tend to get a little carried away, but I’m serious. I just needed to compare and contrast as an example. We do need to focus on ourselves and work towards a healing. I truly think that what we do as a race especially if it’s positive it still won’t be good enough for them, but they don’t matter. Hotep!
Ase, ase!
I couldn’t agree with you more. Despite differences black people should share the common goal of protecting the black community. We all have different ideas and different beliefs as to what is best for our children and our future. We all have different strengths and different weaknesses. But if we worked together to work as a single unified force we’d be that much more capable of protecting ourselves and each other. Our strength would be magnified.
Too many black people are too ready to point their disapproving fingers at other black people and would never say a negative thing about white people. This is just more evidence of how some of us have been programmeded to be our worst enemy. If we allow these people to continue to infest us we continue to allow these people to sow seeds of racial assimilation and black condemnation. As a community we cannot be afraid to identify black people who want to help white people keep the status quo. We must do whatever we can to negate their message of subjugation.
If all black people truly wanted to give the black community a sense of pride and strength we’d be together for that common goal despite any differences. But too often people in our community are nothing more than wolves of assimilation wrapped in black skin working on behalf of their handlers.

Article: The Black Experience From a White Perspective
My friend – brotherpeacemaker – I would like your objective opinion on the “ways of White folks”.
Here is an audio report and my dissection of an interview of White Liberal Educational Activist Jonathan Kozol.

I ask that you first listen to the audio report (in the first link) and then read my blow by blow assessment of the materials and tell me if, in your opinion this man who is accepted in to the arms of many a Black Progressive as a team player for educational reform is actually using “Ignorant Black school kids” for his larger political agenda.
Thank you in advance

Unfortunate indeed.
But strangely enough the funerals from the policies “when he had Saddam contained” don’t seem to register:
Google: Iraq + Sanctions + Death
Never mind. These Iraqis are not worth as much as Americans anyway.
I followed your advice and got a link to an article in The Nation. According to the article the sanctions by the United States are responsible for the deaths of as many as 567,000 Iraqis. If your point is that the United States should just leave Iraq alone I cannot agree with you more.
In fact, the United States should quit interfering in the governance of every country around the globe. It’s not our freedom that people around the world hate. It is our interference and hypocritical political policies. We have to save the people of Iraq and kill more Iraqis and our troops in the process. Why isn’t the same humanitarian effort applied to the people of Africa or Palestine?

Article: A Pot Calling a Kettle Black
We point the finger at Iran and talk about how they execute women and minors all the while black children in Louisiana are being charged for murder in school fights and die in Florida boot camps.
BrotherPeaceMaker – can I give you some guidance as to how THIS SYSTEM works?
People are FREE to chose to BREAK THE LAW or OBEY THE LAW. Upon doing so THEN the law is applied.
For you to bring up the case about the Florida Boot Camp in which a young male was killed at the hands of the guard…..why do you focus on the ACTIONS of these individuals rather than the WORDS THAT THE SYSTEM SPOKE?
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,297844,00.html
You set up a scenario which would require a “Minority Report” type of PREDICTION SYSTEM that would prevent all who WILL TO DO WRONG from doing wrong.
Once again in Jena LA THE SYSTEM HAS WORKED. One DA charged a defendant with ATTEMPTED MURDER (your statement above is INCORRECT). THE SYSTEM that you damn using the checks and balances of the APPEAL PROCESS rejected the call of the DA and these charges were reduced.
AGAIN – please detail your parallel to Iran?
We talk about how Iran will hold public executions and turn a blind eye to the Texas murder machine called the injustice system. As governor of Texas the president stood by and watched retarded men put to death for criminal convictions made with highly questionable evidence. But let Scooter Libby get convicted for treason and poor Mr. Libby has suffered too much to face jail time.
Texas MURDER MACHINE.
Excuse me – could you list the “retarded men” who were “put to death in Texas” in this time period?
Then let me ask you BPM – the court house shooter – Brian Nichols who is queueing up for trial right now IS CLAIMING “TEMPORARY INSANITY” as he KILLED 4 PEOPLE – 2 of the Black. What is your view of the MENTAL DISORDER defense with respect to these 4 people – all of whom were FATHERS, Husbands, Civil Servants?
Please go into detail about how THIS SYSTEM is so screwed up in this case WHEN THE GUY IS 100% GUILTY yet his one trial is sucking up more than $1,000,000 from the public defenders office while triggering staff cuts so that others who’s GUILT is less assured have their representation compromised?
It’s interesting you mentioned the judicial system from the movie Minority Report. It was the perfect system to preventing crime. A system was developed that could predict murder and help people to stop it. But somebody found a way to defeat the system and almost got away with murder. That person was the man who ran the system. All too often a person who tries to get around the system is the same exact person charged with running the system. You wrote that people are free to choose to break the law or not. But who is going to bring justice when it is the law enforcers that make the choice to break the law?
Another interesting movie was To Kill a Mockingbird. A black man is accused with the assault of a white woman. All the evidence showed that it was impossible for him to commit the crime. In fact, the evidence pointed to the woman’s drunkard father as the one who beat her. After the defense made its case with the defendant on the stand the prosecutor steps up to the defendant and asked a single question, are you black? Yes. No further questions your honor. The man was convicted by an all white jury of his peers.
I could list every unfortunate case of racism getting in the way of justice in every case that went to trial in Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, and every other state in the union and you would still defend the system. What would be the point? Are you honestly open to the possibility that the system is in need of change or are you just trying to prove your blind devotion? I suffer from no illusion that I have the power to actually persuade you to change your perceptions that there is nothing wrong with the system. You are a lost cause.
If you really want to see the list of people unfairly prosecuted you can look the information up for yourself. You obviously know how to use the internet. You can find all kinds of statistics and charts and crap to prove your point. Pull yourself up by your own internet bootstrap. And while you are at it, why don’t you take the time to name all the people that Iran has executed?

You mean like his recent ruling AGAINST the use of race for school desegregation? Yup sounds like an Assimilationist to me.
He actually indicated that this assumes BLACK INFERIORITY. Something that you must be comfortable with.
http://withintheblackcommunity.blogspot.com/2007/10/tavis-smileys-all-white-jury.html
Of course an assimilationist would assume that taking steps against racism would imply inferiority. The very argument helps justify the rejection of any program that could actually help black people. The black person who does their best to assimilate into white corporate America by reinforcing the subjugation of other black people is the epitome of assimilation. You should know this first hand.
There was an article about Barack Obama and his nomination of Hillary Clinton as his secretary of state. The next thing you know we were talking, round two. But, gone was the suspicion that I was way too confrontational in my thinking. This sibling actually listened to me without defending the system with every breath. We talked about Barack Obama and what little it actually means to the black community other than we can teach our children that if they too turn their back on the black community that they can do great things for the racial status quo.
I figured that Obama had a lot of “gravitational pull” to do a lot of magic among Black folks who previously weren’t motivated toward obtaining an education. I am actually happy that his election has allowed your family to bury the hatchet.
Obama sure wan’t marketed on HOW LITTLE he would mean to the Black community.

I don’t know why we should hold only our locally elected Democrats accountable. We need to hold everyone accountable as well. People are the ones who make the difference, not the politicians.

Article: It’s Always A Joke When It’s About Black People (AfroSpear)
Mr. Saltsman obviously has the same sense of humor as those white students back in Jena, Louisiana who thought hanging a noose under a tree was a good joke to play on black students. It was only after the manifestation of some of the worst racial disparity began to collect the nation’s attention with marches coordinated by members of the black community from every corner of the country did some people see that hanging nooses isn’t just fun and games but something to be taken seriously. Mr. Saltsman probably needs to learn the same lessons about his race tinged humor.
Excuse me my friends at Afro-Spear:
Did you miss this “Magical” insertion into the story that you deemed fit for syndication?
Why did your member “Brother Peace Maker” FABRICATE this tale about Saltman’s views about Jena LA and “the noose”? Are there any mandates for references to back up your contributor’s claims? Or does the fact that it flows with the general sentiment – it is good enough for you to syndicate?
What is my opinion of the “Barack The Magic Negro” song?
It is funny. In the context of the Rush Limbaugh Show – it is appropriate.
An official seeking appointment within a political party should indeed use more discretion in what he is associated with.
I did notice that the title said “Jokes on Black people”. Why is it that the same people who stone Justice Clarence Thomas with the most vile racial epithets are offended by the smallest of slights by THE WHITE MAN?
It appears to me that if you seek to draw a line that you don’t want your adversaries to cross that you would also have a line that you would not cross.
Then again – if this were so – you would lose your essential character now wouldn’t you?
Why are you worried about the Republicans willingness to embrace diversity more than you concern yourself with the Black community’s IDEOLOGICAL BIGOTRY? We have more Progressives running our community than ever before and yet our future has never been more at risk in certain areas. Who is the bigot as they keep voting against their own best interests due to hatred?

A response to a comment by King Politics
No doubt King Politics. I am sure that the ONLY reason why you didn’t refute my statements is because I was “ranting”. The factual truth placed in the framework of a RANT is still the truth. Didn’t Shakespear say something like that?
Mind you that YOU are the one who gets to define the “rant-iness” of one’s work.
King Politics – is it DIVERSITY that you are ultimately fighting for as a Black person or EFFECTIVE RESULTS within your community? While the Democrats showed great diversity in Denver the fact is that the Black voting bloc is one group that has the biggest gap between their political LOYALTIES and their satisfaction with the RESULTS that are obtained WITHIN THE BLACK COMMUNITY. Is it possible that it is not just the REPUBLICANS that need to change?
Even black Republicans, like Sophia Nelson take offense at the parody.
This one lady’s opinion makes it so?
I see why you didn’t response to my direct analysis of the manufactured story by Brother Peace Maker. I forgive you.
Manufactured story? Destructive feedback, you truly amaze me. Only you would call yourself a black man and yet dismiss the antics of a racist like Mr. Saltsman as a story manufactured by me. You don’t see the racism of this white man but see manufactured stories from me? I compare the racism of a man who wants to lead a political party that is not only exclusive of black people but is actually responsible for some serious neglect of the black community that ranges from the annoying to the tragic to the people of Jena, Louisiana who dismissed white pranks and jokes and aggressive behavior against black people until it is blown out of proportion and I’m the problem here? I agree with King Politics. Your rants do not deserve any commentary for they do not make any logical sense.
In fact, your comments do not deserve to appear at all. We have been down this road before. You came to my original blog with your nonsense and harassment. I tried to be a gracious host and tolerate your shenanigans. But you have taught me an important lesson: Not everyone deserves to be heard all the time. More importantly, some people don’t deserve to be heard at all if it can be helped. Just in case you’re wondering you are most likely in the latter group. That’s why on my original blog, I took all of your comments and put them in their own separate little space. Instead of you learning a lesson and adjusting your tactics, you want to continue exactly where you left off.
Please note that from this point on, your comments will no longer appear on any of the articles I share with the people of the AfroSpear. I’m sure the readers there would miss nothing if you and your seriously less than helpful commentary never appeared. However, so that people can experience the rantings of a black man who has difficulty following a choo-choo train of thought, a black man who can laugh at political leadership from white politicians that is blatantly insensitive to black people and yet curse any and every black politician that exist, a black man that appears to despise his own blackness and the blackness of others, the readers of AfroSpear can read your nonsense here. People with warped thought patterns like yours should not be allowed to freely infect others. You shall not pass.

Article: It’s Always A Joke When It’s About Black People (AfroSpear)
BrotherPeaceMaker:
I am not surprised that in YOUR JUDGMENT my questioning of your highly agendized attacks are considered “harassment” of you.
You are a perfect example of why there needs to be more than one news source to prevent editorial bias from controlling the messages that are put forth.
For the record while I don’t believe that the song is “racist” I do believe that all parties should work to keep ancillary references to a person’s individual characteristics out of the political debate.
With this as a reference you and others are gross violators of your own desire to draw a line in the sand. Clarence Thomas/Condi Rice and many others who disagree with you would be the biggest beneficiaries if you were to abide by the same rules you seek to limit your ideological adversaries to.
It is comical to me that you have found it necessary to give me “special treatment” on my posts. If you can find a SINGLE POSTING RULE that I have violated in posting on your propaganda blog I would love to see it. Did I curse at you? Did I call your mama names? Or was my main offense that I disagreed with you?
Destructive Feedback,
As far as I know there are no rules as to who can make comments or not. It is totally up to the discretion of the administrators of the blog. Some people are welcomed. Some people are not. It’s not a matter of who disagrees or agrees with me. I have plenty of comments from people who disagree with me on a wide variety of issues. I welcome disagreement because defending my position helps me define and refine my position. So the fact that we disagree cannot be the reason for your exclusion. It’s not a matter of who curses at me or not although I’m pretty sure cursing me will not get your comments posted.
If you were open to an honest discussion about the issues affecting the black community and respected dissenting opinions maybe things would be different. Maybe if you were honest about providing constructive feedback or criticism then you could be tolerated. But you have an agenda full of bias against black people that I do not particularly care for. And instead of you keeping your rants to the topic on hand, you have an abnormal tendency that borders on the pathological to always see issues from the typical dominant community that is predominantly controlled by white people’s perspective that the vast majority of black people are negative and in the wrong.
If I thought engaging you in a conversation would be helpful to either one of us gaining a better understanding of the others position then I would. When you first commented on my blog I tried to discuss pertinent issues with you. But we both know that discussion is useless. You may think that I’m judgmental with “highly agendized” attacks. However, I think you are a closed minded bigot with a hatred for all things black and your comments are rarely anything more than nonsense in support of racism against black people.
Mr. Feedback, in one of your latest rants you wrote, “Why did your member ‘Brother Peace Maker’ FABRICATE this tale about Saltman’s views about Jena LA and ‘the noose’”. I fabricated nothing. I made a comparison of behavior of a politician to school yard bullies. And then you have the audacity to say, “I am not surprised that in YOUR JUDGMENT my questioning of your highly agendized attacks are considered ‘harassment’ of you”. Are you really so obtuse or are you just pretending? Do you honestly fail to see a connection here or do you just refuse to acknowledge the connection?
The bottom line is that it is just one thing that inspires me to grant you the special treatment of having your comments corralled to a single point to minimize the taint of your perspective. However, it is not the entire collection of thoughts revealed in your rather maniacal writings and your selective reasoning patterns that prevents you from seeing the racist forest because of your favoritism of a single tree. Your main offense, if that’s what you need to call it, is that right now, I simply just don’t like you.
Peace

Article: Walk Around The Block
Interesting set of observations Brother Peace Maker.
I will withhold all critical commentary of your experiences lest I get moved to the folder that you have reserved for my posts.
I just wonder why you feel that “YOUR OBSERVATIONS” of the threat to the community from the “internal termites” who ultimately don’t give a DAMN about the Black Community are more valid than MINE?
Destructive Feedback,
I never said my observations are more valid than yours. In fact, if you’d bother to read our previous exchanges, I initially engaged you with the respect I freely give to visitors to my blog. Unfortunately, I discovered that the respect I was giving you was not returned. It was you who had the attitude that your observations were more valid than mine. When I tried to agree to disagree with you, that we should be willing to respect each other’s approach to issues, you continued your attack on me. You didn’t respect me enough to even agree that we can disagree.
That was just a couple months after I launched my blog. Back then I thought it was important to be all inclusive and post comments from anybody and everybody who paid my young site a visit. But you never returned the sentiment.
I came to the realization that you were little more than a self hating black man who trolls the net looking for conflict with other black bloggers that do not share your opinion that the problems of the black community are rooted solely within the black community and the racially generic dominant community that is predominantly white would remain blameless. I may not have all the answers and I may not understand the problems fully. But your idea that the dominant community is blameless and is therefore not obligated to help the black community in its predicament of perpetual second class existence is truly perplexing.
As the weeks went on, and with a regular basis, you felt obliged to come to my blog and attack. I considered you a cancer to my blog and to the black community and took the attitude that your less than helpful comments and constant attack on my position, because you felt so superior, entitled you to special considerations. You are the only individual on this blog with his own perpetual article. You are truly a special case.
I found it pretty funny how you ran across my article on the Afrospear and started to attack me there. I ignored your first comment thinking that you were entitled to your opinion. But after someone else responded to what they described as your rant, you ignored them and continued to attack me in your second comment. You learned absolutely nothing from our first exchange.
So now you claim that you’re ready to hold your tongue. I doubt it. But to answer your question, I don’t feel my observations are more valid than yours. I simply think that my willingness to look at the entire picture of what is affecting the black community, including the pressures placed by the dominant community, is a more valid approach to understanding the myriad of problems. As long as you focus only on your hatred for the black community I doubt if you will ever understand. All black people are not the problem. The problems stem from a minority of black people that are used to judge the entire black community. You would see that if you didn’t have so much hatred for black.
I have to admit that every now and then, when I get one of those rare visits from someone from your blog, I’ll take a look to see what you’re up to. I must admit I got a kick out of your article telling your visitors that I gave you your own article. Right after I slammed the door on you over at the Afrospear you wrote the article as if it was news. I noticed you left out the fact that my article was written back in August of 2007. Why did you wait so long? Was it some lame attempt to get back at me?
Soon, we will come up on our two year anniversary. June 25th will be exactly two years since you first darkened my in box. How will we mark the occasion? Will we try to do something a little more civil? Will you act like someone who wants to engage in a dialogue of mutual respect? Are you ready to open your ears and listen as well as talk? I seriously doubt it. My bet is that nothing will change and you will continue with your contempt of me and anything associated with the black community. But that’s okay. You are more than entitled to be a jerk if that’s what you truly are. Just don’t expect to be a jerk here.
Peace

Article: Freedom Of Speech Is Not Entitlement To Be Heard
Truth be told, I don’t I have to look around anything. Racism and racial prejudice oozes and flows all around us like sunshine on a sunny day on the sunny side of the planet Mercury.
Wow – What a coincidence that I come by your blog after no less than 10 months and you are talking about “the right” to post on your blog.
I agree with you that you are the ultimate editor of the content that appears on your blog.
At the same time individuals looking for enlightenment about a complex issue must also know that from your blog – they will ONLY be treated to that which YOU find worthy of posting.
Your consideration of RACISM appears to be stuck in a one way flow…
Well DUH!!! I think that’s what I said!
However, I must admit, because of the lesson you taught me early in my blogging career, the lesson that not all of my visitor’s nonsense is fit for publishing, you are a special exception and your nonsense will always be welcome here, and only right here.

Article: The following comment was made by Feedback on his own blog on my behalf…
One of the operatives who motivated me to create this “Microscope On Left Wing Bias In The Black Blogesphere” (the original title) strikes again.
BrotherPeace Maker has deleted yet another one of my posts on his honorable blog.
This man prefers to spew left biased hatred and distortions in an unchecked manner. Yet when I confronted him over the years – ATTEMPTING to put his arguments into a larger framework in regards to the INCUMBENCY OVER BLACK AMERICA WHERE WE LIVE IN OUR HIGHEST CONCENTRATIONS – and thus point out the irony of his exclusive focus on the outsider – HE WOULD HEAR NONE OF IT.
First he started attempting to debate with me. A losing cause for him.
Then he changed his policy. My comments were migrated from the main posting area over to some folder reserved for “Constructive Feedback”.
I created this blog so that I could post MY COMMENTS made on BQPFRC sites which were prone to delete my words so that I can have a recording of how they were unable to deal with someone who challenged their leftist orthodoxy as applied to the Black Community.
Now BrotherPeaceMaker is simply deleting my posts when he sees them. I haven’t posted at that God forsaken site in about a year.
We see that neither Barack Obama nor BrotherPeaceMaker is willing to “meet with their enemies with no preconditions”.
If by “year” he meant a few days ago when he tried to leave a comment on my post titled Freedom Of Speech Is Not Entitlement To Be Heard that I moved to his special folder, then I have to agree with him.. Otherwise, it looks like Destructive Feedback made five comments to my articles in the past year. Two of his comments were made to articles on this blog, three comments were to one of the articles I posted on the AfroSpear. As if I needed more proof to see that he is not only intellectually mistaken but he is a straight up bold faced liar. He says that he hasn’t posted any comments to my godforsaken blog in the past year but then complains that I simply delete his comments. He is a liar! And like most people who try to avoid the truth, he cannot keep his lies straight and if anybody bothers to look, all it takes is a cursory glance to see that his statements don’t add up. He is so caught in spinning his web of untruths that he doesn’t even bother to see that he will contradict himself in the very next sentence.
I have to admit, this is one of those rare moments where I find that we are in perfect agreement. He is most correct when he says that at first I was willing to dialogue with him. But after sampling his perverted thought processes, I’m reminded of the words of Massachusetts Representative Barney Frank and I have to ask, “On what planet do you spend most of your time?” You see, I tried to get through to whatever remains of anything resembling logical thought in his thinking process. But like Mr. Frank said to the young lady at the town hall, “Trying to have a conversation with you would be like arguing with a dining room table.” And right now I’m in no mood to argue with a dining room table. Although I must admit the table would probably have a far more logical argument than the nonsense Feedback sputters. So people will have to forgive me if I look for more intelligent conversation elsewhere. Like with my sofa. As soon as I’m through with Feedback there’s a good chance I’ll turn away from my desk and say, “Excuse me Mr. Sofa but I had to reply to some idiotic liar. Now, where were we…”
I really didn’t want to post a link to Feedback’s little blog. After looking at his visitors counter and the fact that he has been writing his Black People Under a Microscope since February of 2008, I figure he is getting about twenty five hits per day on average, maybe even less more recently. Now I’m pretty sure he has a few family members and friends who frequent his site on a regular basis. But I’m also sure that the majority of the people who visit his blog come away thinking, What the fuck is this? I was looking for black microscopes! What the hell is this Microscope on Black People on the Web With Windows 2.0 shit, or whatever this crap is trying to be? That Google Search really can suck some times!
With all the complaining he does about the shortcomings of black people and his total focus on the faults of the black community, I would imagine that Feedback’s visitors count would be off the chain and his fan base would appeal to anybody with a conservative mindset and somewhat of a racist streak that would be more than happy to accept the racial disparity that continues to plague the black population in general. But even that large pool of potential visitors finds his blog too nonsensical to frequent on a regular basis.
While he continues to pull his dining room table impersonation, trying his best not to understand why anyone would ban him from their website, then again knowing him it probably is no act at all, other people come to my blog and can engage in a conversation like adults. But Feedback has a way of engaging people that disagrees with him that resembles recent town hall conservative’s behavior. He has no interest in dialogue. He has no need for talk. All he wants is any attention he can get. He is so desperate for somebody’s approval, anybody as long as they are not from the black community, to the point that he would do so at the expense of anything that might remind him of the need for integrity.
No one here or from the AfroSpear forced Feedback to start his 2.0 blog. He started it totally on your own in a bid to justify his hatred of his black self. And the simple fact of the matter is that as much as I don’t care for anything about him, the loathing he has for his self pales in comparison. He started his blog to feed his hatred of black people. He really needs to come to terms with the decisions he has made and quit thinking he is going to change me or anyone else with the dribble that he tries to pass as a blog.
Peace
